Samsun Costal Coast Landscape Design Project, Phase 1

This project covers Phase 1, a 7 km section between the Costal Coast and the Abdal Stream within the Samsun Yeşilırmak delta protection area.

The project provides an uninterrupted coastal pedestrian and service route, a cycle path and a vehicle road offering different opportunities along the coast, with 5 different hubs/squares located along this route. Each square includes buildings for commercial uses offering food and beverage. In this way, the aim is to enrich the visitors' coastal experience with a wide variety of options.

The Samsun Costal Coast Project is not only an aesthetic intervention but also aims to contribute to the social and cultural life of residents and of domestic and international tourists. Its main objectives include;

• Making the coastline more modern and functional.
• Establishing a design approach that respects protected species and areas.
• Preserving the natural structure throughout the site.
• Increasing tourism potential.
• Increasing visitor demand for the region and enriching its facilities.
