Ihlara Valley Park
Ihlara Valley Park Monumental and Thematic Landscape Design Project
The park, given a thematic character under the identity "Ihlara Valley Park", features a monumental symbolic "gate" at the junction in front of it. The aim was to mark the beginning of a contemporary, thematic and original design language expressing Aksaray's rising values and its changing new face. To make it a tourist attraction in the region, the park includes an abstract 1/100 scale representation of the Ihlara Valley, along with park facilities serving the surrounding neighbourhood.
