Denizli Democracy Square
Denizli Democracy Square / Park Landscape Design Project
The park, originally designed by Türkay Ateş in the 1980s and neglected over time, was redesigned during its renewal to integrate with the adjacent "Democracy Square". Taking the main traces of the earlier project as references, innovative and contemporary solutions suited to the theme were developed. A park–square combination was created with a symbolic monument that will become the city's new "landmark", and a recreational area usable day and night was designed with original urban furniture and special lighting.
