Büyükçekmece Mimar Sinan Coast Section 3 Project
Along approximately 1 km of the Büyükçekmece Mimar Sinan Coast, public uses were redefined with respect to the integrity of the shoreline. The spatial relationships of the 4 squares in the coastal plan were re-established with a new concept, each given a thematic function, with sub-themes of the concept of art assigned to the squares. Original monumental designs were created under the themes of the Performance Square, Painting Square, Monument Square and Literature Square, and the coast–square–park uses were developed in accordance with current regulations. Across the site, original designs with a contemporary and innovative approach were created, including various symbolic monuments, recreational units and recreation areas for coastal uses.
