Aksaray City Square Multi-Storey Car Park and Commercial Centre Landscape, Architectural and Urban Design Project
National Landscape Architecture Award - 2009
In the historic centre of Aksaray, landscape, urban design, architectural and engineering projects were prepared to bring registered buildings back into the life of the city, to give a new function to the existing ceremonial and gathering area and integrate it with its surroundings, to identify new areas to be pedestrianised under the conservation zoning plan, and to rehabilitate the surrounding buildings, together with a 6,600 m² multi-storey car park and commercial and cultural units serving the city centre and its redefined commercial functions.
